Hello Everyone,

I know that I have been gone for a while, but I have a lot to share with you.  I will probably take 2 or 3 blogs to cover my adventures since August.

I am now living in Mont Kiara, Malaysia, which is like a suburb of Kuala Lumpur.  I must tell you about my last adventure in Shanghai, China before I start to take about Malaysia.

The last week I was in Shanghai, I decided to go get a manicure and pedicure.  I walked over to the mall across the street from my apartment to look for a nail salon.  I did find one, so I walked in and asked for a mani/pedi.  They said they could do, but there was one problem.  I did not see any pedicure chairs.  I walked to back of the salon and show the pedicure chairs.  It was a chair and a BUCKET!!  They take a plastic bag and line the bucket and fill it with water from the sink.  I was too shocked to say that I did not want a pedicure in the bucket, so I did it.  You know how you are supposed to relax when you are at the salon well I did not have a relaxing experience in that salon. After that experience, I left Shanghai 2 days later to start my new experience in Malaysia, and what an experience it has been.

I will start by saying that the hose is back in the bathroom!!  I will post of picture of it because I actually have one in my bathroom.  Also, I never thought that I would say this, but I really miss my apartment in China.  If I had to come back to Asia to live, I am not sure where I would live because there are good and back things about all places.

1.      I really like my apartment in Shanghai.  It has been the best of all 3 locations.
2.      I could find a lot of American food in Bangkok.  The people were really friendly.   The USD is the strongest in Bangkok, so there is a lot of shopping opportunities.  The air quality is the best in Thailand.
3.      In Malaysia there are so many different nationalities, the only language that they communicate with each other is English.  It is very easy to talk to the taxi drivers and people in the stores.  I can also find a lot of American food.  I guess I could drive here, if I learned how to drive on the right side of the car.

I will write more later about Malaysia, Singapore and Japan.
